FAQ

Do I need experience to join?

Not at all. Every programme at Origin is built to be scalable — whether you've never trained before or you're coming back after years away, our coaches will meet you where you are and build from there.

Is Hyrox training suitable for beginners?

Yes. Our Hyrox classes cater to all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned competitors. You'll train the same movements and formats but at an intensity that's right for you. Many of our members completed their first Hyrox race within a few months of starting.

What's the difference between small group and personal training?

Small group sessions run with 4–8 members and are coached by one of our trainers. You get structured programming, accountability, and the energy of training with others at a lower price point. Personal training is fully one-on-one — every minute of the session is focused on you and your specific goals.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes — we offer a free introductory session for new members. Come in, meet the coaches, try a class, and see if Origin is the right fit for you. No commitment, no pressure. Just get in touch to book it.

What should I bring to my first session?

Just yourself, a water bottle, and trainers suitable for the gym floor. We have changing rooms on site. For Olympic lifting sessions, flat-soled shoes are ideal if you have them — but don't worry if not, we can advise on your first visit.

How do I book classes?

Once you're a member, classes are booked through our app. Drop us a message to get set up and we'll walk you through everything on your first visit.
